Journey

In beginning, I had embarked on a very rewarding adventure.

The British Library facsimile of the 1526 New Testament translated by William Tyndale is a wonderful work; while you may after quite some practice be able to read the fonts, the words themselves too often cause an interruption to the flow of absorbing the text.

So, I acquired an electronic version of the text and introduced it to MS Word. After a bit of cajoling, I settled upon a page layout template that actually behaved itself, opposing page headers and all. Several months of Find/Replace/oops-fix that; proving that Tyndale had chosen the most likely words from his gifted understanding of Greek, I arrived at a manuscript worthy of being sent for test print into physical copy.
